The Checkerboard Jungle is the home of the plaid and a safe haven to BT's best friend Tic Tac. Everything in this area is black and white checkerboards. When Tic Tac and possibly others of his species are in this jungle they blend into the surroundings and can't be seen. Only their black eyes can be seen in the white squares.
